Women Empowerment Cell was started to create gender sensitization. WEC empowers women to face and overcome the present challenges. The main aim behind WEC is to make the women self-dependent by providing them necessary training in several activities like Tailoring, Embroidery, Fabric painting, Tie and dye, Bouquet making, Beautician courses. Moreover, to develop Physical fitness and self-protection, students are trained in self-defense techniques.
Objectives
- To organize different activities with a motive to train girls about self-defense, health benefits, and skill development, etc.
- To organize awareness programs on gender sensitization.
- To educate girl students on women-specific health issues and measures to be taken.
- To empower women to face situations during difficult times at home and the workplace.
- To create awareness on equal opportunity for women, ultimately leading to improved attitude and behavior.
