About Hindi Department 

               Hindi Department was started from the establishment of the college in the year 1966 for the development of national language Hindi and to provide qualitative knowledge to the students. Y.A. Government Degree College For Women started Hindi department and all second language courses. 

Objectives:

  • Hindi is not only the language of our tradition and culture, but it is the source language for acquiring knowledge about the researches and scientific achievements done in ancient India.
  • By acquiring knowledge of Hindi one can get enough information about ancient achievements, taking advantage of which the research work can be taken further.
  • Some necessary steps should be taken to create awareness among the students about the importance of learning Hindi. 
  • Learning Hindi can definitely increase the ability to compete.

 Scope:

    Students, teachers and employees of the university, affiliated colleges, who have the desire to learn Hindi, will be benefitted by this.  This course will be started in universities first.

 Uniqueness:

             Being the national language of the country, the number of people knowing this language is very high not only in India but also abroad and studying this language as a subject has its own importance.  After Sanskrit, Hindi literature is very abundant and ancient, which has been created by the best authors, writers and scholar poets.
